Oasis Foundation, Inc. builds bridges with community partners, local governments and businesses, to bring people, information, skills and advanced technologies together in a way that improves health outcomes for all – particularly society’s most vulnerable members.

Oasis Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, registered in the state of Maryland.  The agency was founded in 2009, with a mission of expanding access to quality healthcare for all.

Our team is comprised of committed people, including medical doctors, technology specialists and other professionals, working to build a better world by developing and deploying workable models and blueprints that enable good health for all.  In the 21st Century, access to affordable, quality health information and services, in a timely manner, remains challenging for more than half of our world’s population, particularly our most vulnerable members.

The concept of Oasis Foundation grew from the development of the South River Seaplane Base (Edgewater, MD), a youth project to demonstrate the power and excitement of applied physics and community service using the dynamic of water.  FAA Certified Commercial Land & Sea pilots Linda Whitby and Norman Thomas developed and licensed the base in 1983. Annual Splash-In Clam Bake activities built community awareness, awe and wonder.  Our founders left the South River in 2000, still committed to education, service and health for all.

In February 2005, OASIS @ Muddy Creek Foundation was accepted as a part of the National Heritage Foundation as a nonprofit 501(c)(3), 509 (a)(1) under the National Heritage Foundation sharing its federal nonprofit tax status.  NHF’s motto, “For every hurt there is a helper,” coincided with our charitable scope of work, namely to enable Health for ALL by utilizing communication and information technologies, (advanced computing), to provide a bridge to health providers and personal community health collaborations in the USA and abroad.   In 2009, we were strong enough to be independently incorporated as Oasis Foundation, Inc., and received our own tax exempt status.
